The Dolphin Square Foundation (DSF) is an independent charity which was formed to invest in excess of £80m released from the leasehold sale of Dolphin Square. It has wide powers to invest, buy, sell, rent, lease, grant loans and make grants in order to achieve its charitable aims.

The Board is composed of members from a wide range of backgrounds and knowledge. The chair, Ian Henderson CBE, has stated "This money provides a wonderful opportunity to establish a charity which will have an impact long into the future. Housing is one of the biggest challenges facing urban areas like Westminster and the foundation will dedicate itself to ensuring that it is a challenge we we are able to meet."
