The DSF Board is composed of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and knowledge, all of whom have had significant experience of the housing market in London.

  • Ian J Henderson CBE

    Ian was formerly the Chief Executive of Land Securities and was also the past President of the British Property Federation.  He is also the Non-Executive Director of International PLC and is Vice Chairman of Central and Cecil Housing Trust.

  • Catherine Longworth

    Before joining the DSF Board, Catherine was the Lord Mayor of Westminster and a City Councillor for 12 years. She is also currently a Non-Executive Director of Westminster Primary Care Trust and Chairman of Francis Holland Schools Trust.

  • Peter Williams

    Peter has extensive experience in the venture capital sector and is also a Board Member for a range of voluntary organisations. He is currently Chair of the Trust for London.

  • Rachel Whittaker MBE

    A resident of Westminster, Rachel works as a Magistrate and is also a former Member of the Metropolitan Police Authority and a former Westminster Councillor.

  • Ben Denton

    Ben Denton is Strategic Director for Housing, Regeneration and Worklessness for Westminster City Council.  His portfolio includes the management of 21,000 homes including 12,000 social rented homes and overseeing rough sleeping, temporary accommodation, housing enforcement and programmes to provide routes to employment for local residents.  He leads the Council’s an ambitious £1bn housing renewal programme which brings together delivering new homes, improving retained homes, environmental improvements and social and economic programmes.  Prior to Westminster Ben had a number of private sector roles including KPMG and FirstBase.

  • Colin Redman

    Colin has had 45 years experience in the property sector, 30 years of which were with The Grosvenor Estate. He is also the former Chair of Westminster Property Owners Association and Independent Member of Westminster City Councils Standards Committee.

  • Trevor Moross

    Trevor is Managing Director of Dorrington – a major private sector landlord with significant interests in Westminster. He has been involved in the residential property industry since 1975. A Past President of The British Property Federation (BPF), he has been very active in industry initiatives to improve standards in the private rented sector. He is also a board member of London and Quadrant Housing Trust, a large registered social landlord, and Salusbury World, a charity that helps refugee children. 

  • David Lavarack

    David joined Peabody in March 2007 from Barclays Bank, where he held several senior posts, including Small Business Banking Director and Chief Operating Officer for the marketing and communications functions worldwide. David has extensive experience in strategic change management and organisational development.

  • Mark Hoyland

    Mark Hoyland has been Chief Executive of CityWest Homes since February 2009, and holds a position on the Board.  He has been a Dolphin Square Foundation Board Member since October 2011.

    With over 20 years experience in the propertyand building sector, Mark started his career in surveying and has held senior roles including project commercial manager and more recently as group commercial director in a multi-national construction and property company.

    Mark is a full Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

  • Bruce Clitherow

    A Chartered Surveyor and resident of Westminster, Bruce is Director of Estates for the Children’s Society and has over 30 years ofexperience in the Property Sector.  He was also for 14 years a Member of the Committee of Management of Dolphin Square Trust.

  • Peter Martin

    Peter is the newest Board member, joining in November 2012. Peter is Group Development Director at Sanctuary Housing. He brings with him a wealth of experience in residential regeneration and development that will be invaluable to the Foundation as it continues in growth and aims for sustainability
